So about an hour after I left the place where I am now employed they received my background check back and called. Course I was out picking up The Drama Queen who stayed after school for some help with the teacher I mentioned a couple posts ago. By the time I got the message and got to call back the woman had left for the day. I tried her this morning, but was thinking in the back of my head that she had been there all week so far and was probably off. I was correct, and of course she was to close tomorrow. So I was a little discouraged and settled in to wait some more… Then the phone rang and it was the store manager who was very excited to ask me to start on Sunday if that worked for me… of course I said yes. I will go in tomorrow to fill out all the loverly paperwork but I am officially employed now. Yay! One more stress off my back! Phew! He also said that we would talk again in 90 days and see how things looked for the both of us and discuss any other opportunities.. for which I am torn, but try to keep an open mind. Who knows where things will be in 90 days given our current economy right?

Now I have to figure out how I can go out and get a couple of work outfits since I have nothing in their colors in my wardrobe…
