1.ONE OF YOUR SCARS, HOW DID YOU GET IT? Well.. kinda embarrassing. We were living in RI still and our a-hole landlord had yet to replace the old broken down bow window. It was fall, warm enough still during the day to keep the windows open, but too cold at night to keep them open. I would open the crank out windows on the bow during the day. One of them did not crank out. It was all messed up. In order to get it all the way closed I would stick a butter knife between the wood and the glass and pull it in then lock it. Well this particular fall I had broken my leg and didn’t want to hobble to the kitchen to get the knife so I grabbed a pair of scissors from the next which was where I was sitting, right beside the window. I used it in the same manner as the knife. Worked ok the first time… the second time it slipped and sliced through the top of my left hand which I was using to steady myself. I didn’t bother getting it looked at that night cuz the kids were already in bed. Went the next day, only cuz I figured I should probably get a Tetanus shot and got a stern lecture about my priorities. I put the doc in his place. My kids were sleeping and I was not bleeding to death so stick it.

2. WHAT IS ON THE WALLS IN YOUR ROOM? Pictures of the kids, Framed art from my sister (a poem about sisters) yucky paint that was supposed to be blue, but looks more like mint green

3. DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME YOU WERE BORN? Yes 11:30pm

4. WHAT DO YOU WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING RIGHT NOW? Peace of mind, the phone to stop ringing unless it is The Mr’s lawyer calling back. All of that to be done so we can move forward.

5. WHAT DO YOU MISS? Not having to cash my paychecks right away… having a savings account. Being able to stay home with the kids and not worry about paying bills.

6. WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRIZED POSSESSION? I guess my engagement ring and wedding band. They are still just things

7 . HOW TALL ARE YOU? I believe I am 5’ 5”

8. DO YOU GET SCARED IN THE DAY? Yes it is bad when I am here alone and my mind hits all the what if’s

9. WHAT’S YOUR WORST FEAR? Losing a loved one/ something happening to my kids or The Mr.

10. WHAT KIND OF HAIR COLOR DO YOU LIKE ON THE OPPOSITE SEX? Doesn’t matter

11. WHAT ABOUT EYE COLOR? Same

12. COFFEE OR ENERGY DRINK? Coke.. oh how I mess you…..

13. FAVORITE PIZZA TOPPING? Can’t do nothin’ but cheese anymore… my tummy has hit middle age.

14. IF YOU COULD EAT ANYTHING RIGHT NOW, WHAT WOULD IT BE? Cheddar & Sour Cream chips.. Damned PMS

15. FAVORITE COLOR OF ALL TIME? PURPLE!!

16. HAVE YOU EVER EATEN A GOLDFISH? Only the cracker

17. WHAT WAS THE FIRST MEANINGFUL GIFT YOU EVER RECEIVED? On Fridays when I was a kid we would go to my Grandparent’s house for a fish fry. Us kids would have something else, but my parent, grandparents, aunts and uncles would have fried scallops and what ever else smelled better than it looked to me at that age. We would arrive early and my dad would meet us there after work. When my grandfather got home from work he would scoop me up and sit in his chair, putting me in his lap. I would pull the comb out of his shirt pocket and comb his hair down towards his eyes and then he would read to me “The Monster At The End Of The Book”. My memories of these Friday nights that ended after he passed away when I was 8 are worth more to me than any material thing I have ever been given.

18. DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH? Too freaked out to let my mind go there these days I guess. Can’t think of one… that will probably change on June 8th

19. FAVORITE CLOTHING BRAND? Anything comfortable and inexpensive…. Gotta be comfortable..

20. WHAT KIND OF CAR DO YOU WANT? One that gets me where I want to go without draining my bank account.

21. WOULD YOU FALL IN LOVE KNOWING THAT THE PERSON IS LEAVING? Probably can’t control the heart

22. HAVE YOU BEEN OUT OF THE USA? Yep, Canada and Mexico

23. YOUR WEAKNESSES? My son’s puppy dog eyes

24. MET ANYONE FAMOUS? Most of Aerosmith, Dweezil Zappa, hmm there was someone else who liked to shop the store I was working in, but can’t put remember who right now.

25. FIRST JOB? Babysitting.

26. EVER DONE A PRANK CALL? Yes

27. DO YOU THINK EVERYONE OUT THERE HAS A SOUL MATE? Yes. Though I am not sure this is always the person you fall in love with and marry. The Mr.is definitely mine

28. WHAT WERE YOU DOING BEFORE YOU FILLED THIS OUT? Putting The Karate Kid on the bus

29. HAVE YOU EVER HAD SURGERY? Just oral… had my wisdom teeth out just before my 18th birthday. The had not started coming in yet, I think one or more of them were impacted… but none of them had roots yet. My orthodontist suggested it since there was no room in my mouth and if they did come in it would mess up the work he had done over the two previous years.

30. WHAT DO YOU GET COMPLIMENTED ABOUT MOST? The curls in my hair… used to hate it! Hard to look like Farrah with your hair all spirally! But I have grown to accept and love it.

31. WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY? Hmmm Well I have nearly a year to figure that out. Can I get back to you?

32. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? I have been told my Dad named me, my middle name is also his cousin’s name. Not sure where my first name came from, but it is in a lot of songs from that time.

34. WHAT IS THE BIGGEST TURN OFF OF THE OPPOSITE SEX? Narcissism. The whole look at me I have arrived thing my FIL does.

35. WHAT IS ONE THING YOU MISS ABOUT GRADE SCHOOL?  Very Little Responsibility! Heh!

36. WHAT KIND OF SHAMPOO DO YOU USE? Pantene Red Expressions

37 . DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? Yeah

38. ANY BAD HABITS? I am a picker, no blemish, scab or peeling skin is safe from my fingers!

39. ARE YOU A JEALOUS PERSON? I can be

41. DO YOU AGREE WITH FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS? Not for myself… but I wouldn’t judge to other consenting adults.

42. HOW DO YOU RELEASE ANGER? Scream, yell, throw things.

43. WHAT’S YOUR MAIN GOAL IN LIFE? Raise happy kids and hopefully have enough to enjoy retirement once they are on their own

44. WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A CHILD? Before 8 any toy a played with with my grandfather. He named all of my dolls. After he passed… my 3 foot long Barbie Motor Home

45. HOW MANY NUMBERS ARE IN YOUR CELL PHONE? 5

46. WERE YOU A FAN OF BARNEY AS A LITTLE KID? Barney the Dinosaur? About 20 years to early for him.. the only giant dinosaur I was a fan of was this one (cuz we passed it on the way to the lake!). Barney Rubble eh… not so much.

47. MASHED POTATOES OR MACARONI AND CHEESE? Hmmm depends on my mood I guess.

48. DO YOU HAVE ALL YOUR FINGERS AND TOES? Last I checked

49. DO YOU HAVE A COMPUTER IN YOUR ROOM? Yes.. small house

50. PLANS FOR TONIGHT? Can’t make plans anymore.. The Mr.is back working for the devil

51. WHAT’S THE FASTEST YOU’VE EVER GONE IN A CAR? Driving? no more than 85mph… as a passenger I stopped looking when it hit somewhere around 120mph. I was sure that my ticket was going to be punched that night. Blind double date on new years… he was pissed that I didn’t want to sleep with him.

52. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO? Someone mowing their lawn… and a new song by Richard Marx and Matt Scannell (from Vertical Horizon) They did an album called Duo of acoustic versions of their own song and one they wrote together. It is called Always on Your Mind. If I could get the embedding to work I would put it in. Their voices sound so amazing together. I just can not give it justice in words and besides you probably aren’t as quirky as I am, but it is like having that passed love, the one you can’t forget, haunting you.
