So we moved in here in Aug ‘03, and then bought the place in June ‘04. Been here ever since. Owning a two family isn’t the best for finding privacy. especially ours that used to be a one family home.. has thin uninsulated walls and creaky floor boards. But it is ours. And someday we will have it looking like we want it.

The inlaws still drop by whenever the hell they feel like, without calling first. I have pretended to not be home a couple times. I know that sounds mean, but SILW/MS is a PITA sometimes. She’s the only one I have done it to.

We would love to have a one family home someday, but that isn’t going to happen in the foreseeable future, if ever. Funny how easily I can give up on some dreams. Guess I have just found that other things are more important.
