I am going to shut off the ringer and enjoy the peace of not hearing the phone ring. I will not check the business checking account to see how much further overdrawn it is. I am not going to worry about my husband filing for bankruptcy and how that will effect us. I am not going to worry about how long I will have to wait before I can get a job. I will not worry about having to find a job and whether or not I will like it.
Nope today I am going to let myself be excited over the tickets I got for my birthday. We are going to see Richard Marx tonight at the Twin Rivers Event Center in Lincoln, RI. We had originally planned on catching his show at Mohegan Sun, but that came along just after we closed the store and The Mr.had just started his new job so we decided to cancel. We were going to take the whole weekend too and check out the casino. But as luck would have it another show was announced.
The last time I saw him in concert was..... Ugh! 20 something years ago...eeek! Hopefully he will be doing some of his new stuff, which sounds really good so far. Course the oldies (ugh!) are very welcome! So I will try to party like I am 20something and ignore the fact that I am out passed my bedtime Heh!

I hope the comments work… Richard Marx! That’s great! I hope it was a great concert! Bankruptcy is a hard thing to go through. It really knocks the self-esteem with a big a blow, and we for one - who actually lost a vehicle in the process and had to move can say the rough spots will go away. 
This was when our marriage became stronger. I’ll think good thoughts for you and The Mr.
Thank you Susan. I think I just need something to occupy my mind through the quiet times when my brain won’t stop, ya know?
