"Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart." ~ Kahlil Gibran
** All the crazies were out in Freaky Town today. I guess that goes along with being next to a bar that opens at 8am. But then again I was bumping into all the loons here in town before heading to work as well. So blame it on the full moon and then we can just assume it will all be back to norman soon. Riiiiight!
** I am getting in a bit of a tizzy here (joining the loons I guess). My baby girl is going to HIGH SCHOOL in a little over a week. HIGH SCHOOL! AHHHHH! It isn’t fair! I need more time! I am sure if I had more time I still wouldn’t be satisfied. They grow up way to damned fast! Gotta enjoy every moment you have (even though the ones between say 12 and 20 make you want to throttle them on a daily basis)
I am really having a hard time with it though. I am so frickin proud of her and everything, but I just am not ready to let go.. though I guess I have been letting go little by little since she learned to hold her own head up. Before I know it she’ll be driving and dating… not sure which is worse….. deciding where to go to college and what she wants to do with her life… Ugh time to change the subject, I am depressing myself way too much
** Know that show on MTV called Made? Well apparently they are filming in a neighboring town. Something about the cheerleading squad at the high school… and someone involved isn’t very disciplined so the ones doing the making decided they need to attend some martial arts classes and they picked the Karate Kids school… they are supposed to be checking it out this week. They will be in the adult class though not KK’s class.. Course I feel so old not having a clue what the show is about. Never seen it but have heard of it… I have a vague recollection anyway. Heh! Sensi was really bouncing off the walls over it too
** Being a total Coca ~ Cola kook, I have been collecting points so I can get myself some nifty rewards. This becomes very challenging when you have sworn off the stuff. But I have some people looking out for me who have been saving their caps and the tops of their fridge packs for me.. and I got my first reward today… it is a Coca ~ Cola bottle flash drive. Heee! I am such a geek for silly things.
** I really should be getting some work, work done….
** I am breaking out like a teenager lately… I guess that is one way to stay young huh? Ugh!
** My back is peeling. I can’t reach it either and it is very itchy. I offered to let The Mr.peel me and he of course thought I was suggesting something else. Which was actually pretty interesting since his mind is never there
** I wish I knew where my bamboo back-scratcher went disappeared to… maybe I can get one of the kids to do it… heh!
** Getting my pictures from both of our vacations developed cost me $40… and that was just mine I haven’t done the kids pics yet
** I flickred them.. I still have to go through and do some editing, but they are up because my sister was bugging me to see them… Glad I did though since I ended up deleting some by mistake when I was trying to get them off the laptop..
** Been flooded with member registrations from fake email addresses… don’t remember that happening as much before… spammers must be gearing up for a big one hmmm…. don’t get to be a member unless you confirm so they aren’t doing themselves any good faking it… hmmmm
** I am very tired. I think someone should put me to bed now
I have the registrations coming to me too! I KNOW that I didn’t ask for them either. I have also been gettng click here to see a greeting card sent by a neighbor, friend, bro, sis…) Our ISP told DH there was a virus there? I am still smart enough not to click:)
The greeting card mails are most likely a link to a virus page. One of my free mail accounts was getting hit by a lot of those. Spammers are scum.
And it was not only a full moon, but an eclipse, too. (Got to see it, it was beautiful!) That just triples the crazies factor.

Heh, acne. Welcome to your 40’s. Started breaking out horribly around age 38, which is when my perimenopause began. I didn’t have acne as a teen, and very little as a younger adult. Now it plagues me.
Do you have captcha turned on for registrations? Seems odd that you would get spammed like that. You could always try turning off registrations, too, and adding folks manually. It’s a pain, but it does shut off the spam flow.
