Spent the day rearranging my living room… my arms and legs are killing me.. can’t sit here and be boring tonight… will have to wait until tomorrow. 

 

Ok I am not “hot” for her, but I love The Karate Kids teacher. You can really tell she loves what she does. Actually each of the teachers he has had to date have been awesome! I don’t know why I am surprised… I guess I am just waiting for his “Miss Fay” She was my 3rd grade teacher and the biggest bitch ever. She was just ugly and bitter and obviously should have retired long before she did. She hated everyone, didn’t matter who you were. Whether you got good grades or goofed off all day.

KK’s teacher rocks! We had parent/teacher conferences tonight. KK is doing well. He is way ahead of where they hope he would be. Again just proof that he has had some awesome teachers!! And we learned that they are changing the report cards…. again…    We won’t see that until January or February. I can’t remember exactly. They do three a year in grades K-5 the first one ends up being near the end or at the end of term two if I remember correctly. They only do two conferences a year too. Guess they make ya work for it if there is an issue during term two. Maybe that is the norm now… just not what I am used to.

The Drama Queen’s report card should be here Friday. Got my fingers crossed on that one. I am hoping she was able to keep the math grade up. I don’t do a very good job helping in that area. I loved math and She hates it… with a burning fiery passion. Just another area where we don’t have much in common. Then you look at her, the way she dresses, the things she likes… and you will see me all over it. Heh! Kind of neat!

 

The Karate Kid has a little problem with his baby teeth. They aren’t coming out as fast as his adult teeth are coming in. This is pushing all his baby teeth out of wack. His dentist is concerned about fracturing ?? so he sent us to an orthodontist. We went to see him last week and he said that he didn’t want to pull too many out so KK is to get to wiggling as much as possible between now and January. Then he will most likely pull 4 teeth. This has me really freaked out. He is freaked out and I am trying my best to get him wiggling so we can get the majority out now… and not to think about the rest until later. I am hoping that we get all but the 4 eye teeth out they will then pull those. Ugh!

Never had a tooth pulled myself. Not sure what I can tell him to expect.
