Had to pick up my brother and SIL at the airport yesterday. Their flight was canceled. They were supposed to be in around 7:30pm…. they ended up switching airlines and getting in at midnight… we were home by 2am… up again at 5am for our regular day. I have no idea what is keeping me going right now, but I am quite achy!! Least we made up for not being able to go to the christening of their youngest…

 

So this week is my relax week… or should be if I had all my shit in one bag. I will find out Thursday if I do or not. We have the tree up, I have done the Christmas shopping… just waiting to see if I need some more stocking stuffers… haven’t had time to dig it all back out without having a child up my butt. I think I can take Thursday off so I will do some sorting and wrapping and go from there

Next two weeks I have my Dad’s birthday, Christmas Concerts at the school and belt graduation and then we have one family after another to visit for our family Christmases… then the fat man comes and we get to chill. Got the menu planned out for Christmas. Should be loads of fun!!! Then for the time after Christmas up to New Years Day we will be working on inventory at the store… Ugh! Gotta be done though.

Geesh just thinking about all this is making me tired. I must pull myself together so I can make the long trek to work… Ho Ho Ho…

 

Been a kooky week. I was sick for the beginning of it. Spent Monday in bed. That was fun! Worked Tuesday still feeling off… was told to take yesterday off. I had a lot planned for today so I started some of it yesterday. Then The Mr.came home early (we are losing our part time guy and he wanted to give The Mr.some time off since he will be getting none for a while… until we find someone else we trust enough to hand over the reins from time to time) and he sat down and found a movie to watch and asked me to join him… so of course I did derr no brainer there! Heh!! And so I asked if he could do without me again today so I could finish all the half started projects from yesterday. I have to clean the dreaded bathroom, change our bedding and flip the monster mattress… put away all the laundry I did yesterday. and I would like to get some presents wrapped. Not a priority, but I have piles here there and everywhere that I want to get organized and what better way to do so than wrapping them. I usually use a different roll for each pile so I can remember what pile goes to which branch of the family. Makes life easier!

Right now I am blog-hopping and importing some Christmas songs to the Pink Princess aka My Ipod. Right now I am listening to Silent Night and feeling quite calm. I promised I would get the tree out so we can get it up and decorated on Sunday when we are all here and I am actually looking forward to it now… course there is a lot that needs to be taken care of in the living room so it can have a spot to sit, but that is the kids job and they will do that or the tree doesn’t go up. Making it their decision not mine takes the heat off!!

I think that I am about 99% done with our shopping for everyone else… now got to finish the Santa shopping. I would like for The Mr.and I to do that together… but that is not as easy as it sounds so I think we will do a good chunk of it online… hopefully I will be able to get him to sit with me tonight so we can do that… now that I have the new router installed and working we can do that from our nightly perch. I am feeling the stress of the time crunch now and not liking that one bit!! I have to get that 1% done too… The Mr.is not helping there much so I will take the lead a bit and nag the hell out of him until it is done. Ahh a wifes job is never done hehe!!

Now off to tackle the bathroom… or maybe I should flip the mattress before I lose all feeling in my arms.
