The Karate Kid has an ear infection… same ear as before back in September. We got a different script this time. Hopefully it will do the trick. You wouldn’t know he was sick at all. He hasn’t had a fever at all, and only complained about ear pain a time or two…. Motrin took care of that for him. Now I am pooped and want to do nothing but sleep. I suggested a nap to him earlier today, and he was all for it, if I took one with him… course I was in the middle of work stuff and couldn’t just then. I am gonna get him to bed now and then hit the sack myself. *yawn*

Thanksgiving is less than a week away. The Christmas music is being played on the radio and in stores. Christmas commercials have been running for a while now. I am hoping I will get into the spirit of things soon. I think I need to get through Thanksgiving first. We are having dinner at MIL’s with The Mr’s sister and her fam. MIL wants to be sure that SIL with MS is heavily medicated. Seems that is how they dealt with things last year. I did not see her as being fun last year, so I am already on guard. I have been getting weird phone calls from her that put me on the defensive. I don’t like that. I know that the stress I am dealing with is a big reason for that not rolling off my back as it usually does…

The only thing that sucks about the holidays, is the thing I look forward to the most. Being with our families. It sucks that there is so much drama.
