"Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart." ~ Kahlil Gibran
Yesterday it was fine… seemed like it took forever to shut down.. then when I got home from work I went to fire it up and it was stuck in the loading windows thing… would stop blink shut down then try again. Today it is going to visit our friends across the street. The ones who built our work system.. and repaired the kids computer and only charged us for parts. Nice guys.. hope they will take care of Blackie for us
I remember this phrase used a bit when I was a kid… kinda fits here
Every time I hear some religious group doing whatever in the name of [enter name of deity here], which usually is a contradiction to the teachings they are quoting, I flash to this family that lived across the street from us when I was growing up. They called themselves ‘Born Again Christians’ and were members of the Salvation Army.
Welcome to the unorganized mess of memories….
Ah I just love owning a two-family! Yeah let’s just leave it at that.
Someone bought the eye-sore down the street and is now wrapping it in pretty vinyl siding. They start at 7:30 each morning. Yuck! Just glad I am not living there. It is bad enough listening to it from here.
I think I am officially done with winter now, thanks. Bring on the sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gonna rain this weekend, then get frigid, so it will all freeze over.
I need new sneakers. Mine are (I think) going on 4 years old… they are a bit leaky, can’t tell from where but they’re not doing the job like they should… guess it is time to break down and get another pair. I hate shoe shopping. Can never find anything to fit my feet right. Ugh!
I bought a sweat-jacket at Steve & Barry’s with some of my Christmas money. It is an XXL, the large just looked so dinky… the XXL is tight on my forearms and the sleeves are short. Guess The Drama Queen gets a new sweat-jacket… I have always hated buying anything with a sleeve, cuz I must have monkey arms or something. I steer clear of anything with a buttoned cuff.
I hate clothes!
What the hell was that noise?????? Don’t ya just love it when you are the only one in the house (and and that includes upstairs, I know cuz I was the maintenance person today) and ya hear a weird sound… creepy!!!!!!!!
Deion Branch tipped a pass to himself in the end zone for a touchdown. Then the former Super Bowl MVP jogged to the railing of box seats and handed the ball to his wife, who was wearing a jewel-studded top with his jersey number 83 on it.
