UMass Amherst and other college longboarders aren’t just skating by. A new alliance and program with ATHENAEUM, a totally new concept in retail skateboard and longboard stores, has them on a roll.
With easy phone and store access, college skateboarders can now save 15 percent on any product ordered with free overnight shipping within New England and most of New York and Northern NJ. With ATHENAEUM’s planned national footprint and stores soon expanding to San Francisco, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Miami, FL and Denver, CO, colleges throughout the country will have the opportunity to connect with pro skaters and top of the line longboard and skateboard components and snowboards.

ATHENAEUM, a totally new concept in retail skateboard and longboard stores, opened its doors in late November at Hingham’s Derby Street Shoppes and offers local skaters a new place to hang and connect with pro skaters and top of the lines decks and hardware.
ATHENAEUM opened its first store located in Boston 18 months ago. The new Hingham location is the beginning of an exciting growth plan for New England. Over the next few years, several stores are projected to open including San Francisco, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Miami, FL and Denver, CO.

Need some advice on keeping my two year old son happy on a plane…?
My two year old son and i will be flying in a few days to Alaska to visit with my parents and brothers and sisters and what not and this will be his first time on a plane. Were Flying from Fl to Chicago and Chicago to Alaska the one from Chicago is about 6 hours. I am somewhat nervous since my parents bought me First class tickets and i don’t want my son causing any problems. What can i do to entertain him on the Flight? Some ideas? Advice?
Bring along lots of coloring books some small toys some snacks and probably a blanket and his favorite stuffed animal. Just make sure you have some gum as well because his ears might pop and for a two year old that is not comfortable and gum will i guess pop them back so he can hear right and everything. Also if you have a Ipod or Laptop take that it will keep him entertained.
Where can I find a “film” camera?
I need a camera that, I guess, uses film in order to get into this Photography class at school. It also has to be 35mm…
I need to know by tomorrow because the paper for our classes is due, and I REALLY want that class, and you have to buy the camera yourself. I asked my parents to buy me a DSLR Camera, but I just found out that it CAN’T be digital.
I have NO idea where to get one, and they seem pretty old…
Where on Earth can I get one?
And if you can tie it down a little more specific, I live in FL near Tampa… So if there’s a shop WEST of Tampa that I can go to, that would be most appreciated!!
