Family IQ Review – What’s the Story Behind Family IQ?
What is Family IQ?
Family IQ was founded by Mark Hobbins in 2001. For the past 25 years, he has helped strengthen families through specific techniques developed by him. His main focus is on helping parents reach frustrated, difficult youth, and help pull them back into society to become productive members and good children.
Hobbins recently appeared on Dr. Phil to help a particular family in need, with a child who had become self-defeating and self-destructive. The company has also been awarded the Society of Technical Communication Excellence Award for its online courses.
But Hobbins isn’t the only one helping people. He has built a network of representatives and provided them with the tools to help other families, as well. Hobbins motivation was to spread his wellness and prevention mission beyond what he could personally do himself.
With a goal of building stronger families, Hobbins has provided representatives with a myriad of options for educating people on family issues, and teaching them how to navigate difficult situations with spouses and children.
What They Offer
Products include activity sheets, articles, audio mp3’s, family IQ tests, learning style analyses, online courses, parent coaching, seminars, tests, and workshops. Prices range from a whopping $1,495 to smaller increments like $40 online courses.
Thus far, the company has invested over $1.5 million dollars, and they claim to have over 200,000 satisfied customers who have taken courses and tests, and improved their parenting and relationship skills.
The Opportunity
Representatives can get started with the company in two different ways, with a “Preferred Customer” package for $179 or with a complete package for $1,495. Like many other MLM’s, the goal is to build a 9-generational downline, and reap the benefits through commissions of your sales, and the sales of your downline.
An Evaluation of Family IQ
With a bit of credibility built up via Hobbins recent appearance on Dr. Phil, and a compensation plan that includes a (relatively) low initial investment of $179, it’s easy to think that selling Family IQ might be a breeze.
But reps first need to think about how they are going to market this product. It’s a very sensitive topic that requires a great deal of care. The toughest sell would be to head to your “warm market” – your family and friends, and see if they would like to learn more about relationship management.
Family IQ could be a great opportunity for those who are willing to build their business outside of their warm market, and learn to leverage the internet for powerful results. All it takes is time to learn the necessary skills, and patience.
